With a mission to cut 1% of global emissions by 2035, we're in search of a Regulatory Affairs Manager who is as passionate about making a significant impact as we are.
The role
As Regulatory Affairs Manager you will be responsible for driving and securing the EFSA applications and managing all regulatory matters related to EFSA and animal science. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement research strategy development aligned with Agteria’s vision and goal and EFSA's guidelines and priorities
- Manage and complete the preparation and submission of applications to EFSA including project managing all resources, external research partners, regulatory agencies and other stakeholders to succeed with the EFSA application
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and protocols to ensure the safety, efficacy, and reliability of the Agteria's studies and applications
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and scientific standards
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with external research institutions, academic organisations and industry stakeholders to leverage expertise and resources and share knowledge and identify collaboration opportunities
- Manage risk assessment and risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks
- Identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities in Agritech
We are looking for the following qualifications:
- PhD or MsC in Animal Science, Agricultural Science or Biotechnology
- Proven track record of leadership in research and development, with significant experience in Agritech or related industries
- Deep animal science skills with experience and understanding of cattle and in vivo/in vitro execution
- Proven track record of managing and securing EFSA applications from start to finish
- Excellent project management skills, tools and processes
- Deep regulatory knowledge with in-depth understanding of EFSA regulations, guidelines, and requirements as well as familiarity with relevant national and international regulatory frameworks
- Great network and relationships with professionals within animal science / EFSA
- Experience in risk management, processes, tools and reporting
- High attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation and driving results in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Swedish skills is a plus)
- Conscientious, getting things done
- Collaborative working style, thriving in helping colleagues grow and succeed
